Tangible Media

MIT’s Tangible Media is coming along nicely,

"Almost like a table of living clay, the inFORM is a surface that three-dimensionally changes shape, allowing users to not only interact with digital content in meatspace, but even hold hands with a person hundreds of miles away. And that’s only the beginning."

This is incredible!!! I have been waiting for MIT to publicize this!! I heard rumors of this kind of tech being worked on and I have seen awesome other kinds of ideas like creating micro beads that form together with magnets to create objects that could change color. When you were done with it, it would “melt” back into the pile of beads. LOVE THIS TECHNOLOGY.

I realise this is shittiest thing to post on your Independence Day but now you can see why I would fail in an American school

This has seven hundred notes and it’s basically out of my control now but omg this is the Canadian grading scale

THIS is the American grading scale. As you can see, it is completely and utterly designed to make students feel like they are failures. If you think you’d do terribly in Canada, just try and deal with the grades in America. Personally, I’d be thrilled with the Canadian grading system.

Oh god I read that and I was like wait a hot second that’s not nearly fucked up enough to be our grading system

wait how the fuck does 59% equal an F that doesn’t even make sense

Lmfao try a private American school, it’s five points even harder to get an A.

*sigh* how great to be an American

I don’t know about everywhere else, but in most of North Texas, you don’t even get d’s. You go from a C (79-70) straight to an F (69 and below)

I think it’s the same in all public schools in Texas. There are no D’s…everything below 70 is failing.
